Gearbox allows you to remove a Vehicle from Service to identify that it is not available for use due to downtime from scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
There is a toggle button on Vehicle screen identifying the Vehicles current status.
Clicking the button toggles the Vehicle Status
The Vehicle also appears red on the Vehicle Register and will appear in the Out Of Service List
The “Out Of Service” status will normally be caused (and rectified) by a Service, Repair or Tyre record. Accordingly, the vehicle status (and the ability to change the status) is available on the Service, Repair & Tyre Screens.
A change of Vehicle status can also be sent to another application such as EasyAllocate and FreightTracker. Contact us for more information.
