How it’s billed
Prestart is currently billed at $5/user per month and our billing cycle runs on the 15th of each month. You will only be charged for the Prestart users that created a Prestart within the billing month.
Example 1
I have two Prestart users (John and Bill) which are billed at $5/user per month ($10/month total).
John and Bill complete his Prestarts each day as required, however John goes on leave for one month starting on the 10th of March and returns on the 10th of April. Whilst on leave John creates no Prestarts, however prior to going on leave, he had created a Prestart on the 9th March. When arriving back John created a Prestart on the 11th of April.
In this scenario, because John has created a Prestart on either side of the billing cycle you will be charged for both users for March and April billing cycles.
Example 2
I have two Prestart users (John and Bill) which are billed at $5/user per month ($10/month total).
John completes his Prestart each day as required, however Bill takes leave for two months starting from the 18th of March till the 18th of May. Whilst on leave Bill does not create any Prestarts, however creates on the 17th of March and 19th of May.
In this scenario, you will be charged both John and Bill in the April billing period ($10), but only for John in the May billing period ($5).
